I would just like to say goodbye, in case I don’t survive tonight’s episode of Doctor Who; The Angels Take Manhattan. Remember: DON’T BLINK.
It was a really close call between season four and two but I went with two because it has Ten/Rose in it and that is like my favourite thing ever. I also really like all the episodes and the storyarc with Torchwood that runs through the season. I love to torture myself with the last two episodes as well and I’m so damn relieved that Rose survived in the last episode even if I always cry my heart out because she and the doctor get separated. They are my favourite otp in all of space and time.
SOBBING FOR ETERNITY. IT WAS SO GOOD. MY FEELINGS WERE ALL OVER THE PLACE. The reunions combined with the fuckgood scenes and the fact that there are now only twelve more episodes to air EVER left me a total wreck. The episode was a perfect intro to the new season I thought. They didn’t drag anything out and we got Olivia back and they got Walter back in the same episode and they are all together; they can work out a new plan. They are the fucking Dunham family. They can do anything. I also loved the flashback scene, I hope they have more of those, to kind of show Olivia and Peter when she was pregnant and the first three years with Etta. That would be lovely.
I NEED NEW EPISODE RIGHT NOW.
Holy crap that is one difficult question. All of them of course but if someone held a gun to my head and shouted “NARROW IT THE FUCK DOWN”, I guess I would have to pick the last three episodes of season four.
- Turn Left
- The Stolen Earth
- Journey’s end
I love these episodes with all of my heart even if they make me cry like a baby. I have heard some very different opinions about the season four finale but I think they are amazing. It starts of in turn left with the viewers getting a glimpse of what the world would be like without the doctor and it’s just horrible. Then in the next two episodes you get to meet old friends and see everyone work together and it’s just heartwarming.
To me what happened to Donna has always been the worst end for someone in doctor who history. I can’t imagine a worse way to go, even dying, which she did kind of. I hate those last ten minutes, because everything ends so happily, but then whoops, happiness can’t have that, no.
I won’t tell you in detail of the episodes because I don’t want to spoil it for anyone but they are amazing. So go watch them if you haven’t
I’m late with this one because I was working yesterday, but also because I thought long and hard and came to a conclusion. I have no least favourite character. I have some fondness for each and everyone of them.
Without a doubt; John Barrowman. My god I love that man so much. He’s just a big man of love and fun. He will sleep with anyone and everyone pretty much love him in return. I have never had anything bad to say about captain Jack Harkness, love him to death. I’m currently watching Torchwood for the first time and it’s so fun getting more information about Jack.
I had to ponder a while for this one. It’s a tricky question because there are so many wonderful characters in the doctor who-verse that I’m head over heels in love with. So to make it a bit more fair I decided to not chose one of the bigger characters; not the doctor or a companion, I decided to pick a smaller part that a guest character has portrayed.
And so I had to go with Jackie Tyler, mum of Rose. I have this weird sort of deep affection for Jackie that I really can’t explain. I think she is amazing in herself, her love and support for Rose and how she accepts that her only daughter runs of with a strange man, leaving her all alone. She’s funny, strong, warm and friendly and she’s also very (sometimes embarrassingly) flirty. I just adore her.
